I remember when I found out I was pregnant with you and was so surprised; I pray you will continue to surprise people throughout your life.

I pray that you will dream big dreams but cherish small moments.

I pray that you will be a leader by serving others.

I pray that you will know how to work hard but also learn how to have a still soul.

I pray that you will always ask questions but even more take time to hear answers.

I pray that you will have a soft heart and strong voice for the weak and oppressed.

I pray that you will laugh often but not be afraid to cry.

I pray that you will love the Lord with all your heart soul and mind but don’t forget to love your neighbor as yourself.

I pray that you will think globally but act locally.

I pray that you will you will embrace failure and learn from it just as much as you do with success.

I pray that you will be less concerned about making a point and more concerned about making a difference.

I pray that you will care more about who you are than who you appear to be.

I pray that you will lean fully into who you are created to be and not try to be anyone else.

I pray that you will choose generosity over consumerism.

I pray that you will spend less time posting hashtags but more time working to solve problems.

I pray that you will remember that college is an opportunity that very few people in the world have.

I pray you will pursue holiness more than happiness.

I pray that I will never take you for granted but will treasure you always.
